Purpose
Reporting to the Medical Affairs Senior Director, this role involves designing and executing clinical evidence planning, scientific dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and publication strategy, focusing on Electrophysiology within Rhythm Management Medical Affairs in EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a Medical Affairs strategy aligned with business priorities and scientific reputation, with clear KPIs.
- Evidence planning: Collaborate across functions to identify evidence needs, evaluate research proposals, establish relationships with KOLs, and support educational initiatives.
- Advisory Boards & Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with KOLs, lead advisory board activities, and develop data dissemination plans.
- Channel identification: Identify and optimize dissemination channels like webinars and symposia, ensuring data relevance and scientific accuracy.
- Clinical expertise: Demonstrate deep understanding of clinical science in Electrophysiology, support educational efforts, and act as a liaison between scientific and commercial teams.
Prerequisites and Competencies
Strong scientific background, experience in medical device industry, and expertise in Rhythm Management or similar fields. Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic skills are essential.
Requirements
- Experience in medical affairs strategy and KOL management.
- Ability to interpret clinical data and influence in a matrix environment.
- Fluent in English; European language skills are a plus.
Additional Information
Travel at least 10%. The role is hybrid.
