Job Description

As a leader in this role, you will drive the success of an international team of skilled application engineers, combining technical expertise, hands-on management, and strategic decision-making to deliver exceptional customer solutions.

In your new role you will:

• Lead a growing international team of motivated and experienced application engineers
• Contribute to strategy workshops as well as influence decision-making in upper management and in the team
• Act as a hands-on manager as well by improving the quality of application reviews, taking part in technical design discussions, and acting as a tiebreaker when necessary
• Keep engineers motivated by coaching and mentoring them to build and maintain a culture of collaboration within the team
• Handle the yearly performance management process
• Track and manage the second-level customer technical interface in close cooperation with our strong first-level community of Field Application Engineers and Software Application Engineers

Your Profile

With a strong commitment to quality and a passion for mentoring and coaching, you’ll foster continuous improvement and collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science, or a similar field of study
• 7 years or more of professional experience in the semiconductor industry , ideally with building microcontroller applications covering hardware and software aspects
• More than 5 years of experience successfully leading teams and a passion for working in multicultural environments on a daily basis
• A great track record of shipping features and hitting deadlines consistently
• A sense of urgency and an aggressive mindset towards achieving results , combined with excellent prioritization skills
• Availability to travel from time to time
• Fluency in English
