Senior Manager, Activation Linear Planning

Experteer Overview: In this role you will lead offline media activation (TV, press, radio, addressable) for a diverse client portfolio, with a high degree of autonomy. You will shape strategy, oversee planning and optimization, and drive measurable growth through integrated, data-informed media solutions. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally across Strategy, Digital, Technology, and Commercial teams, leveraging WPP’s network to maximize client impact. You’ll contribute to a culture of learning and talent development while advancing the agency’s transformation agenda.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage high-level client relationships as a strategic advisor aligning with business visions and growth paths
• Define innovative communication strategies and promote adoption of new agency tools and approaches in media planning
• Integrate Digital Media, Tech, and Martech solutions into client strategies for full-funnel impact
• Oversee budget management for assigned brands and define success metrics
• Coordinate with internal functions (Strategic, Digital, Technology, Commercial) to enable cross-functional collaboration
• Lead complex problem-solving initiatives and advise on risk identification and mitigation
• Conduct advanced competitive analysis to guide strategic recommendations
• Support the Client Director in developing innovative projects and talent development within the team

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of progressive experience in strategic media leadership or client management in the media industry
• Preferably with Pharma or FMCG clients
• Fluent English (C1)
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic media planning and full-funnel digital strategies
• Proven track record in developing and implementing digital strategies
• Exceptional client advocacy and negotiation skills
• Strong strategic and commercial acumen for growth opportunities
• Previous experience in a strategic role or strategic component in past positions is a plus
• Degree or equivalent cultural background
