In this role you partner with the business to enable growth across European operations as a trusted, risk-aware legal advisor in a dynamic fintech context. You will support deals, contract governance, and regulatory compliance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape commercial outcomes. You will handle complex negotiations and oversee external counsel to deliver high-quality legal results while safeguarding the company’s commercial interests. This is an opportunity to influence fintech activities such as TFS, acquiring, and payment gateway initiatives at scale.

• Provide strategic commercial legal guidance to drive growth across European operations (TFS, acquiring, payment gateway, dynamic currency conversion)
• Support day-to-day legal inquiries from European business units and deliver practical solutions
• Negotiate and draft complex commercial contracts including partnerships and client agreements
• Oversee contract governance and manage external counsel to ensure efficient, cost-effective outcomes
• Provide expert advice on regulatory frameworks (financial services, data protection) relevant to TFS activities
• Collaborate with commercial teams and internal stakeholders to support deal structuring
• Partner with global legal risk and compliance teams to deliver high-quality, cross-regional legal support

Responsabilità

• Law degree with legal bar admission (as applicable)
• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, preferably in payments, TFS or fintech
• Strong background in corporate and commercial law, in law firm or in-house
• Proven experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts in fintech/payments
• Solid knowledge of financial services and/or TFS regulations and data protection/privacy
• Proven ability to manage external counsel and contract governance
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages advantageous
