YOUR ROLE:
Would you like to write history? Are you known for your superior global business acumen and negotiation skills?
We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with strong expertise in international commercial contracting to join our Legal Department. You will work closely with various business functions, contributing to the success of our Business by providing high-quality legal support across complex commercial negotiations. Location: Assago (MI)
Key Responsibilities:
- Independent management of negotiations and drafting of complex commercial contracts, with particular focus on procurement, transportation, lease, and shipping agreements, both with clients and suppliers.
- Ongoing legal support and consultancy to operational, commercial, and finance functions, starting from the initial stages of client engagement.
- Constant interface with internal clients for the analysis and resolution of contractual issues.
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, contributing with specialized skills and a business-oriented approach.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documentation in both Italian and English.
Required Qualifications:
- Several years of proven experience in commercial contracting, preferably within international or structured corporate environments.
- Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Strong expertise in managing procurement, transportation, leasing, and shipping contracts.
- Qualification to practice law
- Excellent negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong results orientation.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders at different organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of privacy and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Previous experience in multinational companies or top-tier law firms.
