1. Serve and support legal issues of the Group in Europe, including but not limited to:
a. Acting as the first contact for EU subsidiaries within the Group Legal Department.
b. Drafting and reviewing contracts, e.g., commercial, employment, etc.
c. Providing legal consultation on business and operational inquiries from EU subsidiaries.
d. Assisting in arbitration and dispute resolution.
e. Conducting legal research related to business and managing the legal inventory.
f. Translating legal concepts and regulatory instructions into plain language to improve communication with EU subsidiaries.
2. Advising and training on business-related compliance issues for EU subsidiaries.
3. Managing corporate governance information of EU subsidiaries and ensuring registration details are current.
Job requirements
- Legal education background in China and EU countries, especially Italy.
- Legal professional qualification in China or Italy.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese; fluency in additional EU languages such as Italian, French, Polish, or German is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in a law firm (preferably as a corporate legal adviser) or in-house legal role.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle shifting priorities, and manage multiple tasks independently.
- Service-oriented with strong collaboration skills as a legal business partner.
- Commercial awareness and effective negotiating skills.
