Overview
In this role you drive growth by managing commercial and technical interfaces with assigned customers, aiming to meet sales budgets and unlock account potential. You work closely with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into value-added solutions and new applications. You’ll shape strategies, lead negotiations, and represent Metco at events, delivering impact across the account lifecycle. This position offers exposure to global markets and the chance to influence coating technologies and processes. Retribuzione / Benefits
Manage assigned accounts by pricing strategy, quotations, and contract terms within company rules; deliver sales presentations and communicate Metco innovations to clients Define and manage per-account sales budgets and forecasts, contributing to country-level targets Identify and engage key decision makers, develop account plans, and coordinate with sales manager and product/segment managers Consult on coatings/applications, recommend products/services, support new applications, and oversee sampling/demonstrations Identify prospects and initiate contact to acquire and develop them Support customers and serve as the interface to Metco (quality claims and receivables management) Manage customer data using the company CRM system Provide market and customer feedback to internal departments, including pricing and competitive insights Attend trade shows, events, and industry seminars as agreed with managers Responsabilità
Materials or mechanical master’s degree 5–10 years in a sales function within similar environments (thermal spray, additive manufacturing, laser cladding, or related industries) or related sectors (Energy, Power Generation, Aerospace, Medical) Knowledge of thermal spray coating and laser cladding is a plus Professional English proficiency Driving license and willingness to travel Negotiation and effective communication Strategic thinking for growth opportunities and new markets Requisiti fondamentali
