Carlo Gavazzi Impianti is an international EPC contractor based in Italy, specializing in electrical infrastructure, including HV/MV/LV substations, power distribution systems, and electromechanical instrumentation. The company operates across infrastructure, transport, oil & gas, and energy sectors, supporting both conventional and renewable projects.
Position
We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to be based in our Assago office.
In accordance with the company HR guidelines, the role is expected to promote positive employee relations, ensure compliance with the applicable Italian labour law, understand and support business priorities, and build strong relationships with all stakeholders. You will also advise Managers on employee‑related topics, providing valuable perspectives on common labour law questions and supporting day‑to‑day problem solving.
The role supports and reports to the HR functions of Bonatti Headquarters, ensuring alignment with corporate HR processes and contributing to the consistent delivery of HR services across the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures and HR policy interpretation.
- Support management teams and employees across HR processes, contributing to a best‑in‑class HR experience and fostering a strong sense of belonging.
- Ensure effective implementation of Group HR processes and guidelines, coordinating with key HR teams to guarantee consistent HR service delivery.
- Advise and support local management on all HR operations matters, including employee relations, issue investigation and compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Support the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, CV screening, interview coordination and hiring support.
- Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs, ensuring effectiveness and follow‑up on training objectives.
- Support change management initiatives across the organization.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Prepare HR legal documents (employment contracts, salary amendments, bonus letters, etc.).
- Support payroll, benefits administration, and leave and absence management.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring HR processes operate effectively.
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience as HR in multinational companies
- Previous experience in the construction or EPC industry is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of Italian labour law and HR processes.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Accuracy, confidentiality and solid organizational skills.
