Senior Insurance Financial Analyst (Italian Speaker)

In this role, you will take ownership of a high-profile portfolio of European insurance companies, focusing primarily on the Italian market (fluent Italian language skills are essential). You will be involved in:

• Performing in-depth Financial Analysis and monitoring a dedicated portfolio of insurance issuers to prepare comprehensive rating committee documentation.
• Directly interacting and liaising with issuers' senior management (CFOs, CEOs, Treasurers) during formal rating meetings.
• Presenting and defending credit rating recommendations, ideas, and analytical facts both verbally and in writing to rating committees.
• Writing and publishing comprehensive, high-quality Insurance Credit Ratings reports, sector-specific research, and insightful market commentaries.
• Keeping pace with broader market developments, responding to credit events, and supporting senior colleagues with external queries from investors and bankers.

You will have:

• Professional fluency in both Italian and English (essential for managing the portfolio).
• At least 5 years of analytical experience—ideally in credit, financial analysis, actuarial, FP&A, or audit—gained within an insurance company, rating agency, bank, or accounting firm.
• A strong educational background (minimum first university degree), preferably supported by a recognized Actuarial (Actuary), accounting, or auditing qualification.
• A strong command of insurance financial statement analysis, accounting standards, and Solvency II / solvency requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and reasoning capacities, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
