Senior Financial Accountant
Milan (Hybrid: 4 days office, 1 day remote)
€38,000 – €43,000 + benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a growing international business with operations across Italy. This role offers great exposure to multi-entity accounting within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Role
You will take ownership of day-to-day accounting across multiple Italian entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting key compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger activities across multiple entities
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Perform bank and supplier reconciliations
- Prepare monthly accruals and support month-end close
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany balances
- Monitor cash flow and manage payments
- Support tax compliance, including VAT, WHT, IMU and F24 submissions
- Assist with statutory accounts and local reporting requirements
About You
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Experience working in multi-entity or accounting firm environments
- Strong knowledge of IAS/IFRS and Italian GAAP
- Fluent in Italian with intermediate English
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
