Senior Finance Manager
Location : IMI STI, Via Dei Caravaggi, Levate (BG), Italy
Salary: Competitive, DOE + Bonus Scheme (Target 15%, with potential for higher earnings based on performance) + Company Car
Contract : Full time, Permanent

We are now recruiting for a Senior Finance Manager to assume responsibility for overseeing all financial, administrative and compliance activities of the company.
You will lead a multidisciplinary team across Finance, Shopping and Logistics (within Accounts Receivable), and IT.
As our Senior Finance Manager, you will:
- Oversee end-to-end financial closing processes and ensure timely submission of reports.
- Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with Italian GAAP.
- Manage group reporting processes and deliver accurate management accounts, forecasts, and budgets.
- Conduct margin and variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
- Maintain a robust internal control environment and act as the primary owner of internal controls.
- Liaise with auditors and manage tax governance for direct and indirect tax filings.
- Champion process improvement and standardization, including authoring and enforcing SOPs.
- Collaborate with IT on data integrity, system integration, and ERP implementation projects.
- Implement credit control policies and manage cash flow forecasting to optimize working capital.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, setting clear goals and managing performance.
- Oversee training and development to ensure a skilled and adaptable workforce.
- Manage team resources, including holiday approvals and absence management.
- Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is essential.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a relevant manufacturing company.
- Proven track record in a senior finance management role within an international manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Expert knowledge of Italian GAAP and strong working knowledge of IFRS.
- Demonstrable experience in financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong technical skills in working capital, treasury, and credit management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., IFS, SAP, Zucchetti, Cognos, EFACS, or similar).
- Full professional proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
