✨ About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Exterior/Interior Designer to join our Design teams.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, experienced, and highly creative automotive designer, capable of delivering innovative design proposals and leading projects with autonomy and precision.
✨ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Deliver high-quality design proposals within project deadlines.
✔️ Deeply understand and embody CHANGAN’s Brand & Design Philosophy and its values.
✔️ Work independently to produce consistent, high-quality design outcomes.
✔️ Support Project Leaders/Managers in cross-department communication (CMF, Digital, Physical Modeling, Exterior, Interior, Engineering, etc.).
✔️ Understand packaging constraints and engineering requirements.
✔️ Provide precise design inputs for digital and physical modelers.
✔️ Prepare and participate autonomously in presentations and weekly management reviews.
✔️ Present design proposals to management, including Directors and General Management.
✨Qualifications
✔️ Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Transportation Design, Automotive Design, or Industrial Design.
✔️ Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in automotive industry
✨ Technical Skills:
✔️ Strong hand and digital sketching abilities.
✔️ Proficient in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Alias, Blender, VRED, or similar.
✨ Soft Skills:
✔️ Passion for innovation and precision in design.
✔️ Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
✔️ Excellent time management and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
✨ Language Requirements
✔️ Fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
✔️ Knowledge of Chinese is considered a plus.
