Our client, a multinational company based in Milan, is looking for an experienced Sales Manager with technical expertise in cosmetics formulation/ingredients who is eager to combine direct customers and distribution management across Europe (mainly UK, Northen Italy and Greece ).

The company is specialized in manufacturing raw materials and ingredients for the cosmetic and personal care industry.

The position is open to all candidates based in Lombardy

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow profitable sales by growing and developing an effective relationship with customers (mainly distributors)
  • Work closely with R&D and marketing to launch new products successfully
  • Track and report sales performance
  • Provide technical responses to distributors and end customers
  • Complete management of key accounts - including direct communication, commercial and technical handling.
  • Map customer needs and offer the right solution
  • Monitor and analyze competitors.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in chemistry, biology, pharmacy or related field
  • 3-5 years minimum in sales of ingredients for cosmetics
  • Fluent English, native Italian
  • (Previous experience as a formulator or R&D researcher in the industry will be considered a plus)
