Experteer Overview

As a Senior Expert in Product Development, you help automotive clients tackle critical challenges by shaping product architectures, optimizing performance and cost, and guiding EV/CASE initiatives. You work with senior client leadership and cross‑functional teams to design tailored solutions and lead transformational change. You couple expert technical execution with mentorship, contributing to McKinsey’s automotive practice and knowledge base. This role offers a global, collaborative environment with a strong emphasis on growth, ethics, and impact.

Responsabilità

• Degree in engineering, automotive engineering, or related field (preferred)
• 10+ years of automotive product development experience, with responsibility for full‑vehicle management
• Deep knowledge of full‑vehicle architecture, systems engineering, and product lifecycle management
• Experience with electric vehicles (EVs) and CASE technologies
• Proven track record leading large‑scale product development projects with cross‑functional teams
• Strong analytical and critical thinking with focus on practical, high‑impact solutions
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence clients and teams
• Fluency in English; other European languages are a plus
