In this sponsor-focused role, you design and execute epidemiological studies to generate real‑world evidence that informs decision‑making and accelerates evidence generation. You will work closely with a single sponsor, leveraging IQVIA’s global expertise to understand therapies and RWE needs. You’ll lead study design, data selection, and analyses, translating findings into regulatory and scientific outputs. The position combines deep methodological work with strategic impact in a multinational context.

• Plan, design, and manage epidemiological, biomarker and/or data science projects.
• Conduct analyses for internal and external decision‑making, including regulatory responses and safety queries.

• Construct and validate cohorts using real‑world data (claims, EHR), including variable definition and validation studies as needed.
• Communicate observational research results and methods in regulatory documents, reports, and publications.

• Coauthor abstracts and manuscripts for external dissemination of methodological study results.
• Contribute to developing processes and training to improve efficiency, quality, and impact of activities.

Responsibilities

• PhD in Epidemiology with at least 4 years post‑doctoral experience (pharma setting preferred).
• Master’s in Epidemiology with 7–9 years of experience as alternative.
• Extensive experience with retrospective claims data; focus on US (and some ex‑US) data.
• Experience in HIV treatment and defining complex treatment patterns.
• Strong understanding of observational research methods and ability to design studies independently (protocol, SAP, study report).
• Record of scientific publications in observational study design and analysis (preferred).
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate across functions in a matrix environment.
• Strong prioritization and target management skills.
