Smash Electronics is developing G-hardened electronic boards capable of withstanding the harshest use-cases up to 25000G's of acceleration.
Role Description
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will work with the founder to design, develop, and test electronics boards in an iterative way. This is a full-time hands-on role.
You will be responsible for architecting a modular system of stackable boards with specific functions such as a modular board capable of running avionics systems (px4) or a modular board capable of running advanced computer vision algorithms.
Qualifications
- Proven track-record in the design and development of complete electronics systems
- Hands-on experience with sourcing components, layout on pcb and breadboard testing.
- Hands-on experience with development boards such as Arduino, Beagleboard and Raspberry Pi
- Fluent english-speaker
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
Nice to have
- Experience with RF or analog electronics
- Experience in aerospace or defense electronics
- Experience with vacuum potting
