Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Summary:

Lead and coordinate the electrical engineering design, technical oversight, installation support, and integrated commissioning of LV and MV power systems for large-scale data centre facilities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design review and coordination for MV/LV power distribution , switchgear, transformers, UPS, generator and earthing systems.
• Provide technical oversight during construction, installation and commissioning , supporting integrated delivery with civil, mechanical, commissioning and project management teams.
• Review and approve electrical design submissions, method statements, test plans, and commissioning procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards (IEC/IEEE) and project performance criteria.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, utility providers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to solve technical challenges and support milestone delivery.
• Support quality, safety and documentation control through inspections, FAT/SAT activities and final handover.

Typical Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Several years’ experience as a Senior Electrical or Power Systems Engineer on data centre or mission-critical projects .
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure, protection systems, redundancy principles and power distribution design.
• Excellent stakeholder coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Client requires Italian language fluency.
