Overview

We\'re looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our Electrical Design and Technical Leader Team in Monselice. In this role, you will lead the design and development of innovative products and systems from concept to completion. You will be responsible for driving projects to success and ensuring that all designs meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and manufacturability. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in guiding cross-functional teams and achieving project objectives efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams inside the factory and also with colleagues of other factories all around the world. Analyze customer contractual documents, technical specifications in order to understand the customer needs and highlight any critical issue.
  • Attend technical meetings with customers and suppliers. Foster strong relationships with key customers, utilizing their feedback to drive continuous improvement in design processes and outcomes. Develop electromechanical designs, participate in reviews and making necessary modifications to meet project needs.
  • Utilize standard engineering tools and processes to ensure designs meet industry standards and safety regulations. Optimize design in order to deliver on time, cost-effective and high quality solutions, that satisfy budget and customer requirements.
  • Attend project planning meetings to track design progress and ensure timely delivery, contributing to efficient project execution. Take responsibility of the costs of projects, creating cost sheet, and monitore it during the execution of projects.
  • Follow the engineering process giving support to other designers involved in the same project. Report any contract / quality / cost issues to management, along with recommendations for resolution.
  • Give support during transformer manufacturing stage to solve issues and to assure top level quality. Gather and integrate customer feedback on design requirements, using insights to guide future product enhancements.
  • Maintain clear communication within the team, contributing to documentation that supports engineering efforts and fosters a collaborative environment.

Your background

  • Degree in Electrical engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the role of Power Transformer Electrical Designer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Good knowledge of Italian and English, both written and oral.
  • Availability to short-time travel for meetings with customers / trainings.
