Senior Director of Operations

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to take ownership of site operations at our small-molecule API manufacturing facility. As the Site Head, you will be measured against specific objectives to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient API manufacturing in accordance with global cGMP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee technology transfers, scale-ups, and process development projects.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Manage site budgets and capital projects.
• Develop and implement performance KPIs.
• Lead all site functions including manufacturing, QA / QC, maintenance, and EHS.
• Drive site performance through effective leadership, budget control, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years\' experience in API manufacturing operations, including senior leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, process scale-up, and regulatory submissions (DMFs, CEPs).
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Italian.
• An advanced degree or certification in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma is desirable.
