Premier Research is looking for a Senior Director, Business Development to join our Business Development team. You will help biotech, medtech, and specialty pharma companies transform life‑changing ideas and breakthrough science into new medicines, devices, and diagnostics.
As an essential part of our team, you will help us deliver the medical innovation that patients are desperate for and have complete ownership of the Italy and Switzerland markets.
What you will be doing
- Maintain account management responsibility for several key accounts, including direct account management and targeted client interactions to sell the services of the company.
- Support Account Managers and Operations through development of strategic client solutions.
- Formulate account strategies and tactics with other Account Managers and therapeutic leaders, including generation of RFPs and client presentations.
- Ensure the quality of proposals through review on a selected basis for assigned accounts and others, as appropriate.
- Support international client activities through collaboration with Premier Research operation teams and collaborative European partners.
- Oversee Business Development for the Italy and Switzerland markets, having complete ownership of the territory.
What we are searching for
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of seven years Business Development sales/account management experience in the CRO industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of Phase I through Phase IV drug development.
- Experience working the Italian/Swiss markets.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
