We are looking for a committed, driven, and self-motivated Senior Director, Business Development with good knowledge and experience in the IP market to join our expanding Sales team. The individual will be part of the EMEA Sales team, focusing mainly on selling our services in EMEA.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  1. Detect and prospect new clients/opportunities in the EMEA market for Search, Foreign Filing + Translation, Renewals, and IP trans services.
  2. Build and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  3. Onboard and manage a portfolio of existing customers.
  4. Manage prospect pipeline and record customer interactions.
  5. Create, maintain, and leverage client relationships.
  6. Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify, develop, and promote the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  7. Ensure the delivery of high levels of service.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication skills, including delivering presentations and pitches.
  • Knowledge of patents.
  • Experience in consultative sales within the IP space.
  • Proven success in closing new business and retaining existing accounts.
  • Self-organization and discipline.
  • Business analysis, planning, and organizational skills.
  • A structured approach to selling.
  • Commercial awareness and results focus.
  • Relationship management skills.
  • Ability to learn new products and services quickly.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently, with previous success in such environments.
