We are expanding our Hardware Design team inItaly (Lecce, Puglia) and are looking for experiencedSenior Digital IC Design Engineers .

Your Role

As a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of complex digital ICs , including SoCs and IP cores. You will be involved throughout the full ASIC/IC/MMCU lifecycle, from specification to tape‑out, and provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the RTL implementation of digital IPs and SoCs (SystemVerilog or VHDL)
• Design complex state machines, datapaths, arbitration, and clock‑domain crossing logic
• Ensure functional verification, code coverage, and timing closure
• Define and apply DFT strategies for the designs
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross‑functional collaboration

Minimum Requirements

• MSc/BSc in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Extensive experience in digital IC design and RTL implementation
• Strong knowledge of digital design tools (ModelSim, Libero, Git/GitLab)
• Solid understanding of DFT techniques
• Proven communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Proficiency in English (written & spoken)

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Processor ISA knowledge (Cortus ISA, RISC‑V, ARM, etc.)
• DDR memory interface or DSP design experience
• Exposure to AI/ML hardware accelerators
• Software experience in C/C++
• Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Shell)
• Familiarity with real‑time embedded systems
