Freelance | 6–12 months | Full-time | Remote (Italy-based)
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a long-term freelance project focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps transformation within a structured enterprise environment.
This is a full-time remote collaboration (Italy-based), with immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes (AKS) clusters in production
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
- Monitor system performance, reliability and security
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure scalable and resilient deployments
- Contribute to DevOps best practices and cloud governance
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins or similar)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, Bicep or similar)
- Docker and containerized environments
- Solid understanding of cloud networking and security
- Fluent Italian and good English
