Overview

We are seeking a Senior Designer with a strong architectural background to play a key role in the delivery of a high-quality office fit‑out project in Milan. This is a client‑facing position requiring a technically competent designer who is comfortable operating between concept design, detailed technical delivery and on‑site coordination.

The successful candidate will act as a key interface between the client, consultants and construction teams, ensuring design intent is maintained while supporting buildability, programme and quality objectives on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the design development of a commercial office fit‑out project from concept through to construction and handover.
• Act as a primary design interface with the client, managing presentations, design reviews and approvals.
• Translate architectural design intent into detailed technical drawings and specifications suitable for construction.
• Work closely with site teams, contractors and specialist subcontractors to resolve design and technical issues during construction.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals and mock‑ups to ensure compliance with design intent and technical standards.
• Attend site meetings and inspections, providing ongoing design support and problem‑solving.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Support programme delivery while maintaining high design and quality standards.

Candidate Profile

• Architectural background with significant experience in office or commercial fit‑out projects.
• Proven experience in a senior designer or project architect role within a client‑facing environment.
• Strong technical design experience with direct involvement on site during construction phases.
• Excellent understanding of construction detailing, materials and buildability for high‑quality office interiors.
• Confident communicator capable of managing client expectations and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Fluency in Italian is essential; professional working English is highly desirable.
• Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit or equivalent).
