Everyone contributes.The Designer will have a strong specialization in leatherwear to support the development of the collections. The role collaborates closely with the Design Studio and Product Development teams, contributing to both the creative and technical execution of runway collections.What makes up your dayStep into a hands-on, minds-on work environment where every challenge and opportunity helps you realize your full potential.In this role, you will:Support the design team throughout the creative research and development phases of seasonal collectionsTranslate conceptual ideas into clear sketches and detailed design proposalsProduce accurate technical drawings, including shapes, constructions, stitching, patterns, and graphic details, in line with project guidelinesCreate and maintain comprehensive technical specification sheets covering construction methods, materials, techniques, color ranges, and accessory componentsLiaise with product development and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency across all development stagesProvide support during fittings, styling sessions, photoshoots, and other relevant project activitiesContribute actively to the continuous refinement and evolution of product collectionsWhat makes you, makes our teamWhen you join Zegna, you join a team, working together to shape the future of our company. For this role, we’re looking for someone with:Strong technical expertise in leatherwear, including materials, construction methods, and finishing processesDegree in Fashion DesignFluency in English and ItalianProven ability to develop precise and detailed technical drawings, with strong attention to stitching and construction detailsAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for both creative design and technical documentationExcellent freehand sketching skillsStrong sensitivity to quality, craftsmanship, and contemporary design researchSolid understanding of accessory and product construction, with a meticulous approach to detailCreative, flexible, and open-minded mindset, with the ability to work across multiple product categoriesStrong communication and teamwork skills within cross-functional environmentsPrior experience in a comparable design role is requiredKnowledge in outerwear and tailoring is a plusDocuments required: CV + Complete PortfolioWhat makes you, makes our legacyErmenegildo Zegna Group is founded on a proud history of craftsmanship and quality dating back to 1910, with a vision to ethically create the world’s finest textiles.
