A famous Fashion Company is looking for a
SENIOR DESIGNER
The Designer will have a strong specialization in leather goods to support the development of the collections. The role collaborates closely with the Design Studio and Product Development teams, contributing to both the creative and technical execution of runway collections.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design team throughout the creative research and development phases of seasonal collections
- Translate conceptual ideas into clear sketches and detailed design proposals
- Produce accurate technical drawings, including shapes, constructions, stitching, patterns, and graphic details, in line with project guidelines
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical specification sheets covering construction methods, materials, techniques, color ranges, and accessory components
- Liaise with product development and cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency across all development stages
- Provide support during fittings, styling sessions, photoshoots, and other relevant project activities
- Contribute actively to the continuous refinement and evolution of product collections
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong technical expertise in leather goods, including materials, construction methods, and finishing processes
- Proven ability to develop precise and detailed technical drawings, with strong attention to stitching and construction details
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for both creative design and technical documentation
- Excellent freehand sketching skills
- Strong sensitivity to quality, craftsmanship, and contemporary design research
- Solid understanding of accessory and product construction, with a meticulous approach to detail
- Creative, flexible, and open-minded mindset, with the ability to work across multiple product categories
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within cross-functional environments
- Prior experience in a comparable design role is required
Qualifications
- Degree in Fashion Design or or Knitwear Design
- Fluency in English and Italian
