Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to manage and execute local data science initiatives, driving productivity enhancements and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in statistics, data analysis, and machine learning, with experience in coding skills such as Python/R and proficiency in database languages like SQL.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to manufacturing processes, identifying patterns and trends in batch data, and driving digital transformation initiatives. They will also contribute to the development of innovative solutions to enhance productivity and quality.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and global data science. You will be expected to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with colleagues to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field (e.g., pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, bioinformatics)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis and machine learning
- Proven expertise in statistical analysis, data visualization, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., six-sigma, DMAIC)
- Strong programming skills in Python/R and proficiency in SQL
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
