The Opportunity

Our client is a global consulting firm with over 500 specialists across Data & AI, Cloud, and Digital Platforms. They deliver cutting-edge, end-to-end solutions that help organisations accelerate their digital transformation.


As a Senior Data Governance Consultant , you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing robust data governance frameworks. You’ll define structures, processes, and tools; support clients through launch and implementation; and help them embed best practices across the business.


Your Background

You’ll bring 6+ years’ experience across Data Governance, ideally with exposure to large-scale transformation or enterprise data environments. You should have a strong technical grounding in data integration, data quality, metadata management, and master data management, as well as practical knowledge of both traditional and Big Data ecosystems.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in Data Governance projects, including Data Quality, KQI, Business Glossary, Data Catalogues, Metadata Management, Privacy & Security, Master Data Management, and Data Lineage.
  • Knowledge of key Data Governance frameworks (e.g. DAMA, ISACA, DGI).
  • Familiarity with leading governance and data management tools.
  • Experience designing and implementing processes, standards, and operating procedures.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business needs into governance strategy.
  • Capability to define data-driven transformation programmes including strategy, organisation, roles, and roadmaps.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
  • Project Management experience within complex, cross-functional initiatives.


Nice to Have

  • Understanding of Solvency II, GDPR, and BCBS regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with Data Governance / MDM platforms such as IBM, Informatica, SAS, SAP, Collibra, or Talend.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT, and data integration tools (Informatica, ODI, DataStage, etc.).
  • Relevant certifications such as CDMP, CIMP, or DAMA.
  • Experience leading teams within large enterprise data environments.
