Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Credit Risk Underwriter to join our Risk Service Trade Finance Underwriting Team in Milan. We are looking for qualified, experienced professionals interested in working in a dynamic, international environment.

In this position your key responsibilities will be:

• Prepare credit risk reports using financial analysis techniques, including cash flow analysis, balance sheet review, and industry assessment.
• Approve new credit risk proposals and monitor existing credit limits.
• Engage with debtors and clients to gather key information and enhance the quality of risk decisions.
• Support Management with ad‑hoc risk management analyses.

Required qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, ideally with a Master’s in Finance or Risk Management.
• Proven experience in credit risk analysis and/or underwriting.
• High flexibility, autonomy, and strong attention to details.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
