InPost is a leading player in the business to consumer parcel delivery market. In Poland, they are successfully redesigning the last mile for e-commerce as the market leader. InPost covers the Italian market with a network of 4300 PUDOs (Pick Up and Drop Off points) and 2222 fully automated parcel lockers (that are accessible 24⁄7) enabling customers to collect, send and return parcels at their earliest convenience. The aim is to continue scaling InPost in the Italian market in a similarly rapid trajectory to that of Integer’s Polish home market. Job Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly talented and motivated Senior Controller to join our Finance team.

You will report to the Head of Finance and you will be responsible to manage the control of InPost Italia’s budget and business planning activities.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • You will supervise the budgeting/forecasting process, providing support to the Management in drafting the budget and strategic plan
  • You will overview and coordinate the performance control activities, also analyzing the processes and defining the management control procedures
  • You will measure the performance and evaluate the efficiency of accounting, reporting and internal controlling system, ensuring the operations’ compliance with the accounting standards
  • You will monitor and evaluate the business performance and cost controlling of the various business areas
  • You will analyze the deviations of the budget items from the planned financial and economic objectives
  • You will develop proposals for the development of the accounting and administrative area
  • You will provide advice to management on accounting, financial and tax issues
  • You will ensure, during the finalization of Business Unit results, the constant monitoring of business performance by providing top management with all the necessary elements for understanding variances to support decisions on possible corrective strategies.
  • You will ensure the tracking, monitoring and control of key performance indicators (KPIs) of individual functional areas as well as the product portfolio, customers and markets in which the Company operates.
  • You will ensure compliance with all previous and standard tasks defined by Corporate for management controls.
  • You will ensure continuous updating of cost center plan to enable proper operation of ERP systems, ability to build analysis tools independently
  • You will support the Head of Finance on strategic projects such as implementation of modern structured ERP.

Key Skills:

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration/Economy/Management Engineering
  • +5 years’ experience in Management Control and Reporting in modernly organized Companies
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in the Office suite applications (Excel & Access advanced user)
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP
  • Ability to solve problems and to face challenges
  • Proven leadership skills
