Senior Controls Engineer, Technical Operations – EMEA Italy | Hybrid €65,000 – €80,000 + performance bonus + Package

Are you an expert in BMS, SCADA and critical controls systems looking to make an impact across some of Europe’s most advanced data centre environments?

We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to provide technical leadership across a growing EMEA portfolio of mission-critical facilities. This role will focus on defining controls standards, improving system reliability, supporting commissioning and operational acceptance activities, and driving continuous improvement across critical infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise for BMS, SCADA, EMS, EPMS and DCIM systems

Develop controls standards, integration principles and alarming strategies

-

Support design reviews, commissioning and operational handovers

-

Drive reliability, automation and system optimisation initiatives

-

Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Delivery and IT/OT teams across multiple sites

What You'll Bring:

-

Strong experience with BMS, SCADA or controls systems in mission-critical environments

-

Understanding of controls architecture, integration, networking and operational technologies

-

Experience supporting commissioning, technical governance and operational acceptance

-

Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills

-

Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Controls, Automation or Electrical Engineering
