As part of the Oncology Consulting team, you will be responsible for the on-time completion of projects or components of large, complex projects for clients in the life sciences field, identifying and elevating potential new business opportunities, and assisting in the sales process.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be directly involved in the following activities :

1. Review and analyze client requirements or problems and assist in the development of proposals for cost-effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction.
2. Provide direction and guidance to Analysts, Consultants, and, where relevant, to Statistical Services assigned to the engagement.
3. Develop detailed documentation and specifications.
4. Perform qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client-specific solutions.
5. Design, structure, and deliver client reports and presentations appropriate to the audience's characteristics or needs.
6. May deliver some findings directly to clients.
7. Recommend improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
8. Identify new business opportunities, follow-on work, and new leads at assigned clients.
9. Follow up with clients after project delivery to ensure satisfaction.
10. Proactively develop broader and deeper knowledge of consulting methodologies and the life sciences market through on-the-job experience and training.
11. When acting as Project Manager, proactively manage project timelines and daily communication with clients and team members.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• 5-8 years of related experience in consulting and/or the life sciences industry
• Strong project management, client influencing, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work effectively with others across the organization to achieve team goals
• Experience developing consultative relationships with senior managers and executives in the life sciences industry
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques related to the functional area
• Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the life sciences industry
• Knowledge of Oncology and/or Hematology therapeutic areas and experience with launch readiness programs
• Excellent presentation, communication, and client influencing skills
