Senior Consultant

Overview

The Senior Consultant will work closely with the Partner and the Director of the relevant practice of the firm. In particular, he/she will have to manage projects of advocacy, lobbying and coalition building.

Responsibilities

• Monitor legislative, regulatory and policy activity of the main Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities.
• Develop reports, memos and position papers for the Clients of the firm.
• Demonstrate skills in legislative drafting.

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Public Policy or Government Affairs roles at consulting firms, corporations or trade associations.

Other Requirements

• Strong academic record. Law, Economics or Political Science degrees required;
• Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage;
• Fluent English (strictly required, at least level B2/C1) as well as fluent Italian;
• Ability to translate between the specialist languages of business and politics;
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at Italian level;
• Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage.

The role requires analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, ability to work as a professional. It also requires the ability to meet strict deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
