The role can be based in any of the following European offices: London, Paris, Munich, or Madrid.
ProServe is a new retail vendor consulting organization within EU Amazon Vendor Services (AVS), designed to address complex issues faced by senior leadership of large vendors and brands. We focus on customer problems, applying distinctive results and developing science-driven capabilities that create unique insights. Our services include developing customer and retail strategies to enable long-term growth, utilizing management consulting methodologies, data science, and proprietary eCommerce expertise.
As a Senior Consultant, you will work with senior leaders of our largest vendors to address critical Customer, Product, and Channel eCommerce issues. You will leverage your customer understanding and industry insight to plan and execute engagements that transform vendor strategies and drive business growth. You will collaborate with our Data Science team to prototype scalable solutions that could impact hundreds of vendors and the market at large. Additionally, you will influence how we work, serve customers, and invest in future capabilities by working with vendors, team members, and partners.
This role is ideal for someone looking to utilize client service skills while expanding their knowledge in Product Management, Data Science, and other business ownership roles in technology. We welcome experienced client service professionals with an analytical mindset and a proven track record of driving change, from industries such as management consulting, corporate strategy, or marketing. The candidate should have leadership experience, problem-solving skills, and excellent people skills, with experience working closely with executive leaders or as a consultant to them. Curiosity, a desire for growth, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders are essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and plan complex workstreams, deliver briefings and materials at the executive and board level, and ensure engagement success.
- Own the project delivery, driving outcomes and representing the engagement team to vendors.
- Share feedback and learnings to help improve tools and frameworks for vendor experience.
- Educate customers, partners, and internal teams about AVS services and innovations.
This role involves customer interaction and may require business travel as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years’ experience in strategy or marketing consulting, leading enterprise projects at an executive level.
- Experience in creating and implementing growth strategies.
- Proven ability to build consensus and deliver results across organizational and external boundaries.
- Experience managing complex, data-driven analyses to inform strategies.
- Mentoring, coaching, or training experience with consultants, teams, or clients.
- Comfort working with structured data and using standard query syntax.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA from a leading business school.
- Experience working with C-suite or Board-level clients.
- Retail or E-Commerce experience.
- Experience delivering consumer software products/services in high-growth environments.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
