Senior Construction Manager

In this role, you will:

• Partner closely with the Project Manager to support overall schedule management.
• Be a visible safety leader onsite, actively participating in day-to-day health and safety management, as well as safety auditing.
• Assist with project closeout processes and documentation, ensuring expectations are met to receive approval to close the project.
• Work with key partners to ensure all variations are captured and costs issued to the client.
• Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximize opportunities.
• Lead and attend key meetings to monitor progress, collaborate on solving problems, and communicate impacts to partners.
• Liaise with key partners in QA, Commissions, and EHS to ensure excellent project delivery.
• Manage and track all costs associated with the project, including labour, materials, plant and equipment, variations, and valuations.
• Oversee sub-contractor activities, tracking progress against schedule and labour levels.
• Lead overall construction efforts as part of a client team, with a focus on logistics and handover.
• Monitor daily activities in the field, manage information flow, and report issues arising from progress, quality, and safety.

• Are an experienced construction manager on large-scale projects with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Have a degree or comparable experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a similar discipline.
• Have strong knowledge of the full design and construction process.
• Possess a professional certification or are seeking one; we can assist.
• Have a proven track record of coordinating and managing large projects successfully.
• Are capable of mobilizing people and teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Are effective at building good working relationships within complex structures across projects, clients, and internal partners.
