We are seeking a Senior Commercial Excellence Business Partner for our Milan office to collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply and Business Development teams, serving as a strategic consultant to local leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support accurate forecasting, scenario planning, and market opportunity assessments to inform financial planning and strategic choices.
- Act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner, empowering data‑driven decisions that shape clear business direction.
- Drive data‑driven strategic discussions, connecting diverse datasets (sales, patient flows, distribution, etc.) to generate actionable insights.
- Own Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) operations, including KPI monitoring, territory design, and call plan optimization.
- Design, implement and continuously optimize the commercial Go‑to‑Market model, including territory alignment, customer segmentation, and multi‑channel strategy to maximize commercial impact and ensure effective resource deployment.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of sales force incentive schemes and manage the continuous evolution of CRM platforms (Veeva/OCE) from an SFE user perspective.
- Enhance business processes such as segmentation and Account Planning through insightful analysis and continuous improvement.
- Ensure alignment between strategic planning and field execution, driving the deployment of commercial tactics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Analysis or similar roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid understanding of prescription medicine and familiarity with pharmaceutical market data sources.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in forecasting, business modeling, and data interpretation.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools like Power BI.
- Familiarity with SAP and CRM systems (e.g., Veeva and OCE).
- Experience in SFE activities and incentive design.
- Strong planning and project management capabilities.
- A mindset that is curious, innovative, and solution‑oriented.
- Business acumen and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders to achieve shared goals without direct control.
- Expert at distilling quantitative insights into practical takeaways for diverse audiences, from executives to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of AI and interest in exploring its applications is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
