The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Claims Adjuster to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the implementation of our Claims strategy and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards.

Your New Role

  • Investigate and resolve complex claims to ensure effective handling and minimize financial leakage.
  • Analyze coverage issues and recovery opportunities (e.g. subrogation contribution) to protect company interests.
  • Manage disputed claims and ensure settlements are reached economically.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Underwriting clients brokers) to support business objectives and maintain strong relationships.
  • Monitor and validate billing premium receipt and reinstatement calculations before processing payments.
  • Maintain accurate reserves and system updates to reflect company liability clearly.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior claims staff.
  • Support reporting and portfolio analysis to inform strategic decisions.

About you

We are looking for a candidate with strong expertise in Claims bringing at least 10 years of experience across various lines and types of claims with a particular focus on Property claims. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • A proven ability to investigate and resolve complex claims with minimal leakage.
  • Strong skills in coverage analysis, subrogation and dispute resolution.
  • Experience managing client and broker relationships ensuring timely and accurate billing and payments.
  • A collaborative mindset to support underwriting teams and contribute to strategic claims initiatives.
  • A proactive approach to mentoring junior team members and supporting team leadership when needed.
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and the ability to produce detailed management information reports.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks within the insurance sector.

This role requires someone who is analytical, communicative and solution-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering excellent service and supporting business goals.
