For a Multinational Company leader in Supply Chain industry,

We are looking for a: Senior Business Development Manager – Supply Chain

Role Purpose

The role will take full responsibility for business development activities and within the Consumer/Retail/Fashion segment. This includes:

Key Focus Areas

  • Build, manage, and maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities in the Fashion/Retail/Consumer segments.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities in contract logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Prepare commercial offers, manage customer presentations and negotiations.
  • Manage all stages of the sales cycle: customer meetings, internal alignment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and handover to implementation teams.
  • Support business units with existing customers and contract renewals when needed.
  • Support the BD Italy Director and the Strategy & Marketing Director in defining and rolling out the sector strategy for Consumer/Retail/Fashion at national level in coordination with European Region.
  • Conduct competitor and market intelligence for B2B, B2C, and eCommerce models.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure target achievement
  • Lead and develop a team of 3 direct reports.

Required Experience & Skills

  • University Degree in Economics or Engineering
  • Strong expertise within the Supply Chain , particularly in Consumer, Retail, and Fashion sectors
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, transport, and logistics solutions
  • Significant experience in Business Development and Sales
  • English: advanced / upper intermediate
  • Strong commitment to understanding and anticipating customer needs, building trustful relationships, and delivering solutions that drive customer success.
  • Approaches complex challenges with analytical rigor, creativity, and ownership, identifying effective solutions and transforming issues into opportunities.
