Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Associate, Technical Account Manager (TAM) to join our Technical Customer Operations Team in Milan. If you are excited to work closely with some of the biggest companies in the world and in a high profile position such as that of a Technical Account Manager where you are the main technical go‑to person, then the TAM role at IAS is the place for you!
Acting as the main technical point of contact, you will address any internal or external questions and issues that arise from our integrated clients (including end‑users of the platforms), or elevate appropriately when necessary. On a daily basis, you should be able to quickly troubleshoot any technical issues, pinpoint the technical problem, and provide a solution, escalating to tier 2 support and/or product teams only when necessary. We are looking for critical thinkers who are keen to ensure our customers succeed!
Internally, you will also be relied upon heavily by all departments to provide in‑depth updates and insights on the clients from a technology perspective, working closely with all departments such as Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal, Pricing, Technical Support, etc. Once ramped, you will also provide our most premium customers with dedicated technical support.
You Should Apply If You Have Most Of This
- 2+ years working in a technical account/relationship management/client‑facing role
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and data analysis, with proven experience applying these skills to troubleshoot, optimise and drive performance insights
- Hands‑on experience working with ad serving tags, including implementation, troubleshooting, and validation across different environments and browsers
- Proven experience working with APIs and SDKs
- Critical thinking and analytical problem‑solver with structured reasoning
- Proven experience working with 3rd party advertising technology companies
- Experience working with publishers and publisher ad servers
- Knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem, programmatic advertising, its players, and how it all works
- Strong communication skills; written, verbal and listening skills
- Fluent English and Italian is required
