The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and analytically minded Senior Associate to join our growing team, with a specific focus on supporting leading international Private Equity firms. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in Business Due Diligence, gained within top-tier strategy consultancies or boutique advisory firms with a strong private capital focus.
The successful candidate will work alongside senior team members to deliver market assessments, business model analysis and strategic insight, supporting clients in critical investment decisions. This role offers exceptional exposure to high-impact projects and the chance to grow within an intellectually rigorous, fast-paced environment closely connected to the dealmaking landscape.
Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of Business Due Diligence projects for major Private Equity clients.
- Conduct market, competitor, and customer analysis to assess the attractiveness and scalability of investment targets.
- Evaluate business models, revenue drivers and cost structures using both qualitative interviews and quantitative tools.
- Synthesize large volumes of data into clear, investment-relevant narratives for use in client presentations and investment memos.
- Work directly with client deal teams and management to stress-test assumptions and surface key findings during the diligence process.
- Contribute to pitch materials and help build lasting relationships with private capital clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and help develop junior analysts and interns.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Business Due Diligence or strategic advisory, ideally within a top-tier advisory firm or M&A-focused boutique.
- Proven exposure to Private Equity clients and fast-paced transactional environments.
- Strong foundational skills in strategic analysis, financial understanding, data modelling and client communication.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly grasp new business models and sector dynamics.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities; familiarity with market research databases and analytics tools.
- Strong interpersonal effectiveness; confident presenting analysis to both seniors and clients.
- Degree from a reputable academic institution, ideally in Business, Economics, Finance or related fields. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial depending on the market focus.
