Senior Analyst - Financial Institutions

As a Senior Analyst in the FI Team, you deliver analytical excellence on Banks and Financial Institutions across EMEA, guiding the end-to-end ratings process from first engagement to publication. You engage with issuer top management, publish forward-looking rating reports, and contribute research that informs investors and stakeholders. You’ll work with cross-regional experts, embracing ESG and digital disruption themes to shape credit narratives. This role offers direct interaction with senior leaders and opportunities to impact ratings and research on a broad portfolio.

• Manage day-to-day analytical relationship with issuers and lead meetings with top management
• Prepare and present materials to the S&P rating committee to determine outcomes
• Publish high-quality rating reports and co-author sector research
• Coordinate thought leadership and credit storytelling through publications, speeches, conferences, and media
• Incorporate forward-looking views on ESG and digital disruption into research and committee presentations
• Identify internal innovations and process improvements to enhance the work environment
• Demonstrate teamwork and client service excellence as a collaborative team player
• Work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week

Responsabilità

• 3-5+ years in credit analysis/credit ratings in Financial Institutions space
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience in managing and interpreting data for analytical purposes
• Solid understanding of FI business models and financial reporting
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of financial data with attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication in English with ability to engage senior management and global investors
• Strong analytical, teamwork and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-changing, regulated environment
• Self-starter with proactive attitude and willingness to learn
