We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer with experience applying LLMs and Agentic Frameworks to solve complex product problems. This position offers an opportunity to be on the forefront of applied AI for a growing technology company with high ambition.
What You’ll Do
- Own the development of new AI-powered features in our products as a hands‑on engineer
- Contribute to the company AI’s strategy, working together with your fellow engineers, product managers, designers and data scientists, and be an active member of the company’s AI Lab and AI Squad
- Develop evaluation methods for assessing the quality of AI features to ensure safety and clinical quality
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team, encouraging innovation, staying ahead of industry trends and technologies, and implementing best practices and process improvements
✅ Must‑have
- You have 5+ years of experience as a hands‑on ML / AI engineer
- You have significant experience in building and shipping LLM‑powered multi‑agents and applications. You have likely implemented or used RAGs and/or vector databases, and have experimented with cutting edge models for text and audio. You know how to write effective prompts and how to test them
- You have experience in LLM fine‑tuning
- You know how to evaluate model outputs and build effective metrics to measure accuracy, quality and safety
- You are fluent in Python, with particular regard to AI libraries (LangChain, PydanticAI) and standard ML/DL libraries (scikit‑learn, pandas, torch)
- You are familiar with LLM observability platforms (we use Langfuse)
- You can build and maintain FastAPI‑based services
- Bonus points for experience or exposure in infrastructure‑as‑code (Pulumi)
- You take a product‑focused approach, focusing always on the impact to the end user and business, not just the technology
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong knowledge of the software technologies and processes best practices commonly used in web and app development in a cloud and serverless environment
- Comfortable operating with ambiguous problem areas with a high degree of autonomy
- Strong soft skills, such as emotional intelligence, ability to delegate and time management
