As a Senior AI Engineer, you will apply strong technical and business knowledge to ensure successful outcomes across multiple AI services. You will act as a senior technical contributor and mentor, influencing architecture, reliability, and delivery standards across teams.

Responsibilities

• Executing and leading the evaluation, design, analysis, testing, and integration of complex AI model serving solutions.
• Designing and reviewing serving architectures across multiple services, applying system- and service-level engineering practices.
• Driving adoption of controlled rollout and rollback patterns to ensure safe and predictable production changes.
• Ensuring serving solutions meet performance, scalability, cost, and reliability expectations through proactive design and review.
• Leading or participating in cross-team design and architecture reviews, ensuring consistency with serving and reliability standards.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across teams, promoting best practices in model serving.
• Collaborating with Platform & MLOps, Reliability & Support, Security, Data, and Product teams to resolve cross-service challenges.
• Ensuring appropriate operational artifacts are in place, including documentation, runbooks, telemetry expectations, and integration guidance.
• Identifying systemic issues in serving solutions and driving improvements that raise the overall quality and reliability of AI services.

Qualifications

• Have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Have extensive experience delivering and operating production-grade backend or AI-enabled services.
• Have strong expertise in backend programming languages such as Python.
• Proven experience designing microservice-based, cloud-native architectures.
• Strong understanding of API design, versioning, and integration patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Have solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Have experience conducting design reviews, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical direction.
• Be able to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Have experience with real‑time AI inference, GenAI serving, and performance- and cost‑aware serving patterns is a strong advantage.
