We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.
This is a key role within the organization, high visibility role with exposure to senior management across accounting, reporting, tax compliance, and international financial processes. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic business environment with multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update accounts receivable processes, including invoicing activities.
- Manage accounts payable activities and perform supplier reconciliations.
- Monitor and control supplier and employee payment requests.
- Handle daily banking operations, including payments, cash collections tracking, and F24 processing.
- Prepare and post journal entries in the General Ledger, including labor costs, accruals, provisions, and other accounting adjustments, ensuring compliance with Italian accounting principles.
- Perform periodic account reconciliations and ensure accounting accuracy.
- Manage tax obligations, including VAT settlements, F24.
- Support monthly and yearly closing activities.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages in accordance with IFRS standards.
- Monitor and manage factoring activities and credit‑related processes.
- Liaise with external auditors, internal audit, tax advisors, and banking institutions.
- Act as a key administrative interface for internal departments, customers, and suppliers.
What We Are Looking For
- Several years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in an international or structured company environment.
- Experience working with Italian accounting principles (OIC) and tax requirements.
- Good understanding of IFRS reporting principles.
- Experience managing month‑end closing activities autonomously.
- Analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Professional knowledge of English.
