My client is seeking a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer – Photonics & Semiconductor Process to join their team. Your role will be to support the development, optimisation, and manufacturing of photonic and semiconductor devices, working closely with R&D and manufacturing teams in a pilot-line and production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, sustain, and optimise semiconductor and photonic unit processes on a pilot line
- Support manufacturing ramp, yield improvement, and process stability.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues using data-driven analysis
- Collaborate with R&D, device, and manufacturing teams
- Maintain process documentation, SPC, and control plans
Required Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or pilot-line environments
- Hands‑on knowledge of semiconductor unit processes (e.g. lithography, etch, deposition, CMP)
- Exposure to photonic, optoelectronic, or silicon photonics technologies
- Experience with SPC, DOE, yield analysis, and cleanroom operations
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
