Responsibilities

  • Leads global segments and provides leadership by developing and following main Procurement KPIs (savings, processes)

  • Develops global procurement strategies and processes in alignment with Director Global Segment Lead and aligns with key cross functional teams on global, regional and local levels and ensures their full implementation

  • Manages Key Supplier and develops Industry knowledge and expertise to develop a robust and lean supplier base (dual sourcing) and continuously screens and benchmarks global supply markets to reduce overall Cost of Goods

  • Joins in New Product Development ( NPD) projects and proposes sourcing recommendations to the Director Global Segment Lead and ensures information and alignment with other cross-functional NPD team members. Coordinates and leads NPD initiatives within the segment

  • Continuously fills the pipeline with savings project initiatives and follows up for benefit of fast and efficient execution

  • Communicates clearly about material price evolution & trends to relevant stakeholders and develops standardized communication processes and behaviour (i.e. MKT, Sales, RTC, SCM)

  • Represents Global Procurement in relevant PDMT or Innovation Review meetings or similar

Qualifications

  • Master in business and administration or in industrial engineering (University or University of applied sciences), preferable with major in Business, Procurement, Logistics or specific technical area covered in the segment

  • 5-10 years’ experience in strategic procurement in local or international operations, or in production in the area of the segment

  • Experience in FMCG and knowledge/experience in SAP ERP (appreciated)

  • Experience in Production or Technical positions (appreciated)

  • Fluent in Englis, any additional languages is consider a plus

  • Deep knowledge of Supply market and Procurement information System

  • Strong negotiation, communication and social skills enjoying working on international and intercultural environment

  • Strong leadership attitude in leading people who are not direct reports
