Offer Description
UNDERGOV (ERC Consolidator Grant, Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna) examines how criminal groups and criminalised actors contribute to the production of transnational migration governance. The project combines three axes (policies, discourses, practices) within a multi-sited design (Italy, Mexico, Indonesia), integrating multi-scalar ethnography, discourse and visual analysis, digital ethnography, and Social Network Analysis. The contractor (Senior Researcher) will support the PI and postdocs in developing conceptual frameworks and conducting literature reviews, assist the PI in research activities (data collection and analysis, drafting scholarly outputs), ensure cross‑case methodological coherence, analyse the shared qualitative dataset, and contribute to NVivo coding/analysis.
