We are looking for a Scientific Dietary Exposure Assessment Officer to work in the MESE Unit.

Retribuzione annua: 40000€ - 50000€

esperienza1 anno
  • Excellent knowledge of English (at least B2 level);
  • From 1 to 3 years of previous working experience in scientific risk assessment activities;
  • Academic background in one of the following fields: Chemical risk assessment, Exposure assessment;
  • Data managementand analysis(e.G. data cleaning);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, SAS, Distiller.


Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 6 months
Salary: approx. €3702 per month before taxes
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days

Support the Methodology & Scientific Support (MESE) Unit with data consolidation, data cleaning and data reporting for dietary exposure assessments to chemicals, nutrients and food ingredients. More specifically the tasks may include:

  • Extract, edit and consolidate scientific input data required for dietary exposure assessments/models.
  • Analyse, report and validate output data from the above-mentioned assessments/models.
  • Execute dietary exposure assessments for chemicals, nutrients and food ingredients.
  • Collect and evaluate feedback from relevant business units and (test) users.
