We are looking for a
SCIENTIFIC DATA ANALYST
to work in the IDATA Unit.
Assignment : initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment 12 months.
Salary : approx. €3702 per month before taxes.
Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possiblewithin 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.

Responsibility
The interim will:
- coordinate the management and updating of the EFSA European food consumption database;
- monitor ongoing procurement and grant projects aiming at populating it with new data;
- support the creation of an open access food composition database;
- coordinate the timely execution of FoodEx2 activities;
- support the organisation of the Food Consumption network.
Requirements:
- excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
- previous experience in food consumption data collection and management;
- previous experience in food composition data collection and management;
- excellent knowledge of IT tools and data analysis tools;
- knowledge the FoodEx2 classification system would be considered an asset;
- behavioural competencies: ability to work with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results.
