Satellite PA Engineer

We are looking for a Satellite PA Engineer on behalf of and in support to our client for their location in Milan, Italy.
Please note, the successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries). Furthermore, upon selection, they will be subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).
The successful candidate will be tasked with, but not limited to:
Management of product/quality assurance related matters during all phases of the space projects;
Implementation and performance of the space project PA/QA plans;
Management of integration of activities defined in the PA/QA plan (EEE, materials, mechanical parts and process, dependability etc.);
Management of non-conformances/deviations/alerts/critical items control process;
Point of contact for all space quality-related activities related to the constellation of competence towards external suppliers;
Lead of manufacturing process surveillance, providing support for inspection activities and client on-site reviews;
Participation in design/engineering/AIT/manufacturing reviews;
Participation in customer/supplier reviews;
Management of space project internal/external audits.

A Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics;
At least 5 years of experience in PA activities in development/production of space application products;
Experience in evaluating compliance with requirements and generating supporting program data for system interfaces and dependencies as well as with compliance verification efforts during the program production, manufacturing, and/or AI&T phases;
Strong processes focus with the ability to intelligently apply standard processes;
Ability to thoroughly address responsibilities, with good attention to detail and a proven understanding of documentation methods and requirements;
Ability to review, assess and document (complex) problems and to propose solutions;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members;
Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU;
Fluency in English both written and spoken.
